VT4VT believes Vermonters should be able to see the records, examine the numbers and reach their own conclusions without having to pay to get behind the headline.
VT4VT is part of Fort Aldrich Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our work is funded through tax-deductible gifts from readers and viewers like you. We receive no outside institutional support.
If this work is valuable to you, there are several ways to help. Make a tax-deductible donation to VT4VT, become a paid subscriber on Substack, purchase something from the VT4VT Gift Shop, or donate your time and expertise. Even a $5 contribution helps defray the costs of obtaining public records, maintaining our websites and databases, analyzing thousands of records and keeping this research available to everyone.

Help Us Document Vermont’s FY2027 Property-Tax Cycle
VT4VT is building an independent statewide record of Vermont reassessments, grand lists and property-tax changes. If your municipality has completed a reassessment, take the anonymous Vermont Reassessment Survey. If you have access to your municipality’s new or previous grand list, submit the grand list or a link to it. Reassessment notices, tax information and other relevant public records can also help us compare what is happening from town to town.
The more records Vermonters contribute, the more of Vermont we can document using actual municipal data rather than anecdotes.
Can’t donate? Help investigate. Submit public records, grand lists, reassessment information or sourced research and help us build the most comprehensive independent Vermont property-tax and public-policy database possible.
